Falcone & Borsellino - Dignità
Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino, two heroic Italian prosecutors, mounted an extraordinary legal campaign against mafia during the 1980s. They ultimately paid for their efforts with their lives.
Un uomo fa quello che è suo dovere fare, quali che siano le conseguenze personali, quali che siano gli ostacoli, i pericoli o le pressioni. Questa è la base di tutta la moralità umana.
A man does what he must - in spite of personal consequences, in spite of obstacles and dangers and pressures - and that is the basis of all human morality.

Today I am Black and/or Tibetan - The power of a gesture
At the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City, Tommie Smith and his teammate John Carlos came in first and third, respectively, in the 200-meter dash. As they received their medals, each man raised a black-gloved fist, creating an image that will always stand as an iconic representation of the complicated conflations of race, politics, and sports.
Their black-power salute enraged a nation but became a global symbol of the fight for equality.
These men did something knowing that in this moment they were risking their life.
Remember:
Chinese government does not respect human rights;
El gobierno Cinés no respecta los derechos humanos;
Il governo cinese non rispetta i diritti umani
Black gloved fist for Tibet free during next Olympics.
Equivalent of that gesture in music: Power Distortion!

Election!
I do not believe in the modern right Nor in the modern left I do believe in man and woman and the natural law and what he/she knows it is right before privileges and personal advantage I believe we need more heroes and less liars I do believe in principles and respect that man or woman that fight to be faithful to them therefore to themselves...but all this is just easy to say

Sunday thoughts: Friendship!
You've Got A Friend (Carole King)
When you're down and troubled And you need some loving care And nothing, nothing is going right Close your eyes and think of me And soon I will be there To brighten up even your darkest night You just call out my name And you know wherever I am I'll come running to see you again Winter, spring, summer or fall All you have to do is call And I'll be there You've got a friend If the sky above you Grows dark and full of clouds And that old north wind begins to blow Keep your head together And call my name out loud Soon you'll hear me knocking at your door You just call out my name And you know wherever I am I'll come running to see you Winter, spring, summer or fall All you have to do is call And I'll be there Ain't it good to know that you've got a friend When people can be so cold They'll hurt you, and desert you And take your soul if you let them Oh, but don't you let them You just call out my name And you know wherever I am I'll come running to see you again Winter, spring, summer or fall All you have to do is call And I'll be there You've got a friend.

The man and the sea
Free mankind, you will always be delighted
by the sea - it is your soul, a mirror where you look at your
soul running endlessly like the waves.
Your heart is an abyss not less bitter.
It is here where you lavish your image
with delight, you grasp it with your eyes,
with your arms and you free yourself
from your internal noise if you listen
to its indomitable wild voice.
Both are dark and discrete: no one has ever
descended down to your abyss, man, nor there is
anyone in the sea who could know its hidden treasures:
this way they are protected with care.
And yet, from immortal times, every one of you
fight against it - without mercy or remorse,
in a way that you begin to relentlessly
enjoy torture and death in an eternal fight.
i riposti tesori: così li difende, gelosi.
Eppure, da tempi immemorabili ciascuno
di voi con quell'altro combatte - e non ha pietà, non rimorso,
da tanto che amate la carneficina e la mortei
n una lotta eterna, implacabili, avvinti!

Learn (again) to play
I tried to swim like them once. It was in the water of Capri island. Diving, swimming, breathing for a second and then falling in the silence of the water again, no oxygen tank but just me and my body. I was closer to my life rhythm signed by my heartbeating that seemed to slow down when in the deep. Everything was blue and white from the bubble air. No thoughts, just joy. That moment I felt completely free. Comment from my friend John: "I was inspired to do this music for the film of the dolphins. their plight is so sad and at the same time so joyful. a beautiful paradox. i hope the music expresses something of that feeling. much thanks to jack (chiajungchi) for permission to use the film".
